‘Anzackery and other Australianisms: Australian National Dictionary second edition’, Honest History, 30 August 2016
The first edition of this dictionary came out in 1988 in one volume. Now there is a two volume second edition. Chief Editor Bruce Moore tells us about some of the new words, including ‘Anzackery’, a word and concept which Honest History has done much to promote in the last three years. The dictionary’s Managing Editor Amanda Laugesen wrote about Anzackery in 2015. There is a note here about how the definition took hold (scroll down to 30 August update, sub-heading ‘Anzackery …’).
Update 17 October 2017: the same definition goes into the Australian Concise Oxford Dictionary.
