Reports remarks at a conference from Jeffrey Grey, Craig Stockings and Peter Stanley, all of UNSW/ADFA on the blowing out of proportion of the Anzac story and the need to distinguish between history and mythology. Grey notes the remark of the chair of a conference in the United States: ‘Australia is without doubt the most aggressive of the centenary commemorators’.
