Blogger Yvonne Perkins (Stumbling through the Past) has performed a great service by collating material from the recent Australian Historical Association conference in Newcastle. There is an analysis of tweets and blogs, some papers, and lots of other material which we, and others who couldn’t attend at all or couldn’t get to all the sessions, will gradually get our heads around.
Honest History is an affiliate of the AHA though, we must admit, we found great difficulty in knowing whether our occasional tweets to the AHA conference hashtag were actually getting through or just disappearing into the cloud or the swamp. Perhaps this was a self-inflicted wound or something to do with our settings. The Stumbling Past alternative has filled the gap for us.
