- former ABC journalist, Peter Greste, has a two part doco on Sir John Monash (and his connections with Greste’s family) starting on ABC TV on 24 April;
- Les habitants (et les agents de voyages !) de Picardie en France are gearing up for a week of events surrounding the opening of the Sir John Monash Centre in Villers-Bretonneux (soft opening today, official opening 24-25 April), including le footy, le cricket, un didgeridoo, et un barbecue traditionnel.
