Gerry Schulz: volunteer researcher

Gerhard (Gerry) Schulz was born in 1934 in Eisenach, Germany (Wartburg Castle, St. Elisabeth, Sangerkrieg,¬†Luther, J.S.Bach, BMW), experienced ten years of Nazism, ten years of Communism (East Germany),¬†five years of democracy (West Germany) and settled in Melbourne in 1960. ‘I became a Pacifist whilst sitting in the cellar listening to the bombs falling. My uncle died on the Russian Front, my father was a prisoner in Siberia for 13 months.’
