‘A long overdue reassessment’: Steven Carroll on The Honest History Book

The Sydney Morning Herald has a review note by Steven Carroll in which he describes The Honest History Book as ‘[a] long overdue reassessment’ of an Australian history long Anzac-dominated. The SMH reviewer, Steven Carroll, is a writer, former teacher and drama critic. His A World of Other People was joint winner of a Prime Minister’s Literary Award in 2014, he won the Commonwealth Writer’s Prize in 2008, and has been short-listed three times for the Miles Franklin Award.
